From the beginning, Islam was destined to become a religion to be embraced the world over and evidently so, within half a century of Prophet Mohammed's death, Islam had spread to three continents.

What sparked from the oasis cities of Mecca and Madinah in the Saudi Arabia desert, Arabs, then Persians and followed by the Turks, had set out to estbalish classical Islamic civilizations.

The message of Islam went forth with electrifying speed and in the 13th century, both Afrika and India became great Islamic civilizations that spread into the Malay-Indonesia world and China.
